There's a Cannondale F7 disc for sale near me for $300. Apparently it's 3 months old. Now if only I had $300 :(

It sold within like 12 hours. Oh, and I'd hope a kidney is a little more than $300 today!

Here is my 2007 Stumpjumper FSR. Before I ever rode it I stripped it down and completely rebuilt it to my specifications. The highlights are; a full XT drivetrain (including hubs), DT Swiss X430 wheels custom built by me, Sram Rocket grip shifters, Juicy 7 brakes with a 203 in front, Fox Talas fork adjustable from 120-140, and an AMP adjustable seatpost.

I've got a Santa Cruz Nomad for mountain biking and a Felt F60 road bike. I really neglected the Nomad this year... getting married and buying a new house this summer really put a dent in my schedule, and I got off on the wrong foot with my conditioning, which never helps when it comes to motivating myself to go mountain biking. Next summer will be a different story, but in the meantime, I need to get in shape for ski season.

Oh yeah... it's fun to point it downhill and let it go. It's just the riding uphill part that sucks when you're out of shape :D

Do what I do... blame the wife :p

There's a sweet network of trails by my new house, I just haven't had time to take advantage of them since we moved. I just got some new rollers for my road bike to use over the winter, so I'll definitely be ready to go come spring.

Last but not least, kind of a "before and after" shot. I lost another ten pounds after this picture was taken though. My "race weight" is 168. My off season weight is in the 190's. :(

Damn. You are my new motivation. I was 192 before the training and riding in the MS150 this past weekend. Now I am down to 180, and I am not going to stop there.

I am riding a Trek 1000 (01') for road rides and a Haro Flightline (08') for off road.

So far so good - I start back up training on Saturday. :D

Thanks, I appreciate it. You are off to a great start, keep it up and you will be amazed at how great you can feel.

My high weight was 220 pounds, my low weight was 168. I'm currently setting in the upper 190's due to lack of time, new home, and too much work. I've worked a minimum of ten hours a day for the last 25 days. Last week I wored 84 hours! I finally get a day off next Monday, woohoo!!!!!

I'll start back at the gym in the next week or so and start getting in my base miles for next season so I'll be ready to start road racing in Ohio in March.

That's awesome! Keep up the good work.

Yeah, the MS150 is my starting point, and I think I am going to keep it as my baseline. I will be doing the "Tour de Green" soon, and 2 half-marathons. Next year I have 5 century rides, 2 full marathons, the MS150 again, and some more fun planned out with one of my hot coworkers.

Sounds like a great year planned. I'm hoping to get out more next year. My season ended really early this year. I did get in six road races though, had two wins, two seconds, a forth and a ninth. I also received my cat 3 upgrade. If I get back into mountain bike racing season next year I will be racing expert class so that should be grueling!

Here's a picture from when I was in shape. This was an individual time trail with a couple of pretty good climbs so I decided to skip out on the time trial bike. I finished second, two seconds slower than the winner. :(

    WheelersTimeTrial_42eba3f9e0db5cbe589436efb07a5b1682048cc7.jpg

Here I am winning a race earlier this year. It hurt!!! I had already attempted about four breakaways which all got realed back. I finally won it in the sprint finish. On a side note, the following week I won by taking a huge risk. I pulled off a 16 mile solo breakaway with 15 mph winds and a lot of climbs. I won by over two minutes!!!
