from the online tire size calculator

Here is a comparison to 285/70/17, they are actually shorter and wider.

im running 305/70/17..... i did rub quite a bit. got the body chop and no more rubbing there..... i did however have to cut quite a bit off the inner fenderwell to be able to turn full lock while wheelin and such. But nothing too crazy. im happy with my choice.

sorry for the iphone pics but its all i got right now.

I am picturing BF a/t's white letters out on my truck with a toytec ultimate lift and either 285/70/17 or these 305/65/17's. Just wish i knew if it would work.

the 285's will work no question. the 305's will work also with a bit of trimming...... which is no problem at all.

I had 285's on my first gen with very little cutting and a 3" lift. I ain't scared of a little cutting. Pro comp extreme a/t's also come in this size. But i kinda think i want some white letters to break up some of the black. Any input?

Im running 305-65-17. I only had to trim the black part of the wheel well. No rubbing at all now.

yo i got a question. If you had to pic a 30" tire, would you rather pick nitto dune grapplers or remington mud brutes?
