Coming down a mountain pass, taking it easy, when a big rig blows past me, inducing trailer sway.

That is not the time to be fumbling around with a blue tooth app on your phone!

Go spend the money on Redarc Break Controller. Simple dash button/dial and you're set. The bonus is I can press the brake controller (which turns on the brake lights) and tap the start button. Nice to start the car while still scrapping ice or A/C while loading.

I used one last weekend and it worked flawlessly. Super easy setup. Only downside is you need to have the app open and ready for surge braking. If you have a cell mount that’s easily accessible, you should be good.
