Installed bilstien 5100 set at 2.5 inches. I want to know did this install improve my stock suspension or make it worse?

I guess I could phrase the question in a different way as well....do I now have more "play" or "movement" or "throw" in my suspension or less set at 2.5?

    If less...why??

I am having trouble understanding this concept.

    Thanks

Stock coils with the 5100's at 2.5 is probably gonna give you a little harsh ride. Because you are making the coil squished under pressure.

Stock spring rates on the 2.5 setting will not be plush. Lots of remarks / posts about how stiff they make the ride.

Oh, and to your other question... your suspension travel is limited by other hard parts... UCA and such...adding shocks alone isn't going to give more anything in the suspension articulation department.

I believe that you will have 2 1/2" more upward wheel travel, but 2 1/2" less downward wheel travel. More suspension preload = less suspension sag.
