I have both OEM parts. There is a slight sound difference nothing to brag about but definitely nicer. Performance is negligible, I got the Power Thurst tune and that’s made the most difference. If I could do it again I would go high end aftermarket and spend more $$

Not necessarily looking to GAIN performance, Just don't want to LOSE performance with a decrease in back pressure as some have suggested. I want SOUND, the performance will come with KDMax tune, I'm sure.
So, anyone interested in a trade : my stock long bed exhaust for a TRD and I'll pony up some cash difference, too? Message me?

I have the TRD Intake and the TRD exhaust, no changes in power from the butt dyno, but a bit louder. Sounds decent, but no noticeable difference in power or response. New tune made all the difference though.

    I lurnt sumthin tuhday!

Apparently I overlooked the fact that TRD exhaust only comes on a short bed and, I have a long bed. Therefore, TRD exhaust won't fit without splicing a piece of tube in it. Not a big deal, I'm a welder. However, this means I can't trade mine and would have to buy one outright either new or used. I don't know if I want spend that much for nothing but sound?

Any suggestions on a muffler only replacement that would give a little more sound (no droning) ?
Prefer someone who's done it... would be best if input/output ports on replacement were similarly sized and located. Otherwise, i don't know if i want to go down this particular rabbit hole!
    Thoughts/comments anyone?
