As per this tutorial, replacing the clutch master cylinder requires brake bleeding. However, the tutorial is generic (i.e. not vehicle-specific) and I noticed that Tacoma's brake fluid tank, which feeds the clutch master cylinder, has a wall inside that, below a certain level, separates the outflow to the clutch system and that of the brakes, IOW, if the level is below the top of that wall, any bubbles in the clutch system would not spread onto the brakes.

Does the clutch master cylinder replacement require brake bleeding as is suggested in this tutorial?

The only reason that both would require bleeding is if the fluid level in the reservoir was below the M/C inlets - so since you only replaced the clutch master cylinder, only it needs bleeding. If you had a leak in the brake hydraulic system that caused the level to drop to totally empty, or replaced the brake master cylinder, then both should be bled.
