tinted is the best. people who think otherwise have either not had tint or have a low IQ, obviously :D

Window tint is kinda like sex. You never know how much you need it until you don't have it.

    Obviously :)

Of course I live in the Northwest so seeing a tinted car is like a white elephant around here. Do you really want dark windows on dark, rainy, gloomy days. Yeah.

Not unless you DONK out your truck with twenty FOES and paint it some dumb ass scheme like M&M's, Skittles, or Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper. It would take effort to ghetto a Tacoma.... Now an old Crown Vic, little easier.

If you think your truck looks "ghetto" after tint, then you need to drive through the hood.

    Not enough...
I got my fronts tinted 22% and it's dark enough and matches the rear ones. With the black Katzkin leather and a shell it looks much darker than it actually is.

How do you like it over the windshield? I was thinking of doing that but then if you get a crack you'd have to replace the windshield and pay to have it tinted again. Plus even filling a chip would be a lot more difficult wouldn't it?

20% to match the rear and shell

I have 5% all the way around including the brow of the windshield. I love it. Never have to wear sunglasses.

I don't think filling a chip would be difficult since the tint is inside and chip would be outside. The hard part would be finding the chip to fill.

I love tinted windows but I live in AZ were it's sunny 360 days a year so I need it. With that said, 5% is too dark. I went with 20% all the way around, this way the rear passengers and back are limo, and the fronts are still one shade above legal which is 35%, close enough that I should not get a ticket.

Not a fan of 5%, but I would never drive a vehicle without tint. Been trying to get my 70 year old parents to tint their minivan for a year at no avail.

A question for the wind shield tinters ... do your states have inspection stickets ... VA places a sticker center bottom.

Here in PA front door tinting is a request for a ticket... I already had to peel it on my wife's car once.

IMO, tinting makes your commute more enjoyable by taking that beaming hot sun off of your arms. I like tint but I don't want to waste my money as I will have to peel it off again. That and the PITA to get all of that adhesive off. I think 5% is ghetto, I'd like a light or medium on the front if I could get away with it. Living near a city like Pittsburgh, there are "some" who get away with it but you never know if they're aiming at you or not.
