Does everyone have a name for their beloved Tacoma

My Taco is a truck. I have my expectations, but it's not "beloved" or anything close.

In fact, I use it as a truck!

Now if we were talking motorcycles......;-)

 

“The Gen 1” or “The 2003”, as I also have “The Gen 2” or “The 2015”.

 

"The truck". And I hate when people refer to it as "car". It's a full-frame, truck. Not as dramatic as the lifted and over-rubbered Fords, Rams, or GMs around here, but it is a truck. I have my 2016 Lexus RX350 too. That's "the Lexus". So the names are the Lexus, and the truck.
I never put a name of affection to any of my vehicles. But I do love 'em, especially the truck, as it feels like a member of the family after 24 years, and I believe it's regarded as such by my family.

 

I call mine Grendel the Wise. This is a mind blowing coincidence.

I miss my small S series Tacoma.

 

The RedHead. She is my mistress and wallet magnet and I look under her skirt regularly.

 

My 2012 Tacoma was named after my Cousin "Tom" who died of Cancer, Tom got totaled so my 2013 Tacoma is named " Tom Two"

Bodonkadonk because it's got a giant ass.
A friend called it that and it stuck.

 

Nah.Now, my FJ40, absolutely. Clyde was the perfect name for it.

 

Only when people ask, as you have: Cement Truck.

Short for Sahara perhaps?
