the problem with lifting your truck the dealer is very hesitant to work on your truck when you lift it. IF their is warrenty work they might not do it because you altered it. If i were you i would wait till the 36k then do it. That is what i did.

cause i'm from seattle! Just happy to see another pacific northwesterner. And getting back to the O.P., you should call and ask the dealer you bought it from what their policy is. Honestly I think it depends on the dealer (kinda like the rear tsb) but then again i'm not lifted yet so I can't speak from experience but I have seen lifted tacomas in the dealer garage being worked on.

    wat?
i just sent my ratty eastpak to everett, WA to get fixed...lol

anyways, read up on the Magnuson Moss Act. it details how/when aftermarket parts affect your warranty status. a lift will not blow away your entire warranty. i replaced my front coilovers, UCAs, rear leafs, and rear shocks...so obviously my suspension would not have been covered under warranty, but everything else would have.

suspension, front "axles" and steering, drive shaft and carrier bearing, bigger wheels would probably go with and remove any wheel bearings from warranty. Of course YMMV

Probably any rattles (2 year warranty on rattles and rips?) since you'll be hammering down the road, well, most will be.

Suspension and front diff stuff will be tough. Ask your dealer if they install it, if everything will still be under warranty. If they agree, get it in writing and pay the shop labor.

Toyota motor corp would have to sign off, the dealer is just a garage with a license hang out a toyota flag. id be wary though... the car gets some bad initial quality surveys an general failures. im on my second engine. you want the warranty. might be fine, but according to statistics, youre going to need it
