    My last truck was a DCLB and it wasn't more difficult. It was tougher in parking lots, but that's about it.

    In answer to your question OP. I think it takes a little more skill to handle the longer version.....BUT, I've always had the longest one in the neighbourhood and have grown to like it. I've never been rear-ended in a parking lot. (yet). I'd suggest using protection like me....(I leave my trailer hitch in place all the time)..!! It keeps some people from damaging my rear-end.

    list is growing fast
    I drive many size trucks, DCLB is on the smaller size of things. Still, it takes more planning in tight spaces like narrow trails/roads, parking lots, parallel parking in the city.

    Not hard at all, just a little more thinking ahead.

    I drive a DCLB and it's easy to tdrive and I love it cause I can carry more toys like my long boards. But when off roading, a SB is better.
