I believe all Limited Tacos have the tow package. @Herniator good call on the bumper connections.

More misinformation. Tow package is only standard on the pro. This is how people end up without a tow package on the lower level models.

I believe this is what you are looking for in the front... (also I will confirm my 3rd gen with tow package has the 24f battery)

Still yet, more misinformation. Only two options from Toyota's build your own page. Both with tow packages standard. No big deal.

I think it is a regional thing as all Off Roads in my region require the Tow Package while others do not.

In my opinion all Trucks should come standard with a Tow Package.

I don't know how anyone can buy a used Taco and know exactly what is on it and what type/trim/package and/or options it really has from past years.

They may require the tow package, but it will still be a separate charge on the invoice. because only the pro has it standard.

Options... not standard but an option that will cost you $650.
Also the build page only lets you build what is currently available in your area. It will change according to what is available.

The only two options when you go to complete the build have tow packages for my zip code. Not sure why you would want a tow package if you're a serious off-roader. That hitch is gonna hang up on something.

Which would you rather drag, the hitch or your bumper? Also, there is more in the tow package than the hitch.

You can click and deselect the tow package.

Optional on everything but the Pro where it's standard.

Well, given that we're in the Third Gen forum... I'd say that it's an important distinction to make.

Never said it wasn't. Was providing my advice based on my knowledge of 05+, that's why we have a forum, so others can correct any advice if it's wrong

Is that on the drivers side? If so, I have one of those, definitely have the tow package, but I dont think its a trans cooler because MT shouldnt have one. I havent traced the line but that might be an oil cooler.
