All things equal the resale value of Tacos seems to be higher in my area (metro Hou) percentage wise what you paid vs what you get when you resale. Yes the Tundra will cost more on average im talking purchase price to resale price ratio. The Tundras around same year and mileage seem to resale for a very reasonable price vs Tacomas are craaaazy imo. Dont know if its cost of fuel or what ? Ive been looking for a few months and used Taco prices are wild across the board. The one pictured was pretty extreme imo.Screenshot_20230416-014459~2.jpg

    I’ve not done the math.
But it does seem Tacoma bring a bit more on the used market when comparing new/used price.
Maybe it has to do with what people are transitioning from.
Car to truck. Truck to truck.

Car to truck. Most don’t start with a “Big” truck.
Truck to Truck, most don’t switch a Tundra.
You either switch trucks for a smaller truck, or a more capable truck. Like a 3/4 ton.

It varies from region to region.
But Toyota trucks seem to hold value as good as diesel trucks.
