Does the 2016-17 OEM pro grille have a removable insert to accommodate a TSS garnish of newer trucks

I have not been able to clarify the grill difference.

I have a 2020 TRD off-road Tacoma(no front camera)

My Toyota dealer says I require a PT228-31570 grill and TSS garnish. This grill is most often advertised as a 2016-2017 part but not consistently. Does the center piece come out to accommodate a TSS garnish for newer trucks? It seems like it can be taken out like in many aftermarket grills.

OR do I need a different grille altogether. I found another grille with part number PT228-31580 as well. It seems like the only difference is that this garnish piece is already removed.

No, TSS did not exist on Tacomas in 16-17. Those grills are one piece and look nothing like a 2021 grill either.
