Does the Center Console USB ports also act as inputs to the Stereo?

    That's what i'm thinking. Get in behind where the usb plug pushes out through the dash. pull the plug back and plug in the iphone. Then i'll just have to figure something out for where the plug was. Like a knock a tiny out plate. I don't pick up the new truck till tomorrow so i'll hunt around then.

    Oh and one thing. Switches pop out the front. You squeeze from the back to release them. Then unplug the connector. Then pull the wire back into the dash. Then you can reconnect the switch inside the dash. To do all this you typically first remove the climate control plate. Which can be pulled once you remove one piece of trim near the steering wheel. Lots of YouTube videos to show this. Super easy.

    The Cplayair adaptor has to be plugged directly into the usb of the headunit, it will not work via a hub.
    I have done a setup similar to this one.

    If done right, there appears to be no limitations on the number of songs. 512GB and 54,860 songs.
