    While driving the cruise control wont shut off when I down shift, is this normal?

    Yes. In radar guided mode the clutch does not cancel the cruise control. Nice for going up grade you can downshift without having to restart the cruise control.

    In the other mode adaptive cruise off, the clutch will cancel the cruise control, like trucks of old.
