Does the OEM hardcover block the rearview mirror camera when it's up?

Just curious if the hardcover blocks the rearview mirror camera when it's up? I'd love the security of a hardcover over the softcover, but also like to see. And the bedcover would be open quite often. On the Tundras it does not block it. Specifically looking at the OEM (not aftermarket) item as that's what would come on the truck I'm considering. Thanks!

My truck came with the Toyota brand 3 piece hard tonneau which I think is what you are referring to, and no- it doesn’t block

No, as long as it's adjusted correctly.

It does block the cargo camera though.

Thank you all, will probably try the hard tonneau then. Much appreciated!

Just saw this video where the guy say it blocks it. Is his adjusted improperly, or could there be different models? I'm still waiting on truck to arrive, and can always opt for the soft cover instead of hard cover. Thanks!

Would like to know how you guys have it adjusted so that it doesn’t block. I have the premium package, it is adjusted/installed correctly and it DOES block the rear view mirror camera.

Might it depend if its a long or short bed?

Remember there's two folded-up positions for OEM hard cover. I expect you'll likely use the fold-twice & attach straps position far more often than you need to flip it up for more opening.

I've also seen of the digital rear view camera not being blocked, so either there's some variability or adjustability.

Either way your side mirrors still work. :)
