I did this with my tacoma. Worked out great..
You can't really ask more.. having a safe frame on a vehicle is expected.:notsure:
Thats what I told seller anyways.
    Eitherway what loss is it?

Only cost @FMRAV4 gas$ and small amount of time to either end up with that truck at that price with new frame or....walk away let seller have a truck with an old frame or seller can try to up charge the next guy for getting a free recalled frame replacement :der:

I'm not saying it's right but we all know people they will think the now the truck is worth more because it has a new frame and all the shit the comes with it.

The Brian Warner et al V Toyota class action settlement agreement states an owner had to have purchased prior to 12/2/2016 to be a class member; however Toyota appears to not be enforcing that, as well as some other SA terms. Also Toyota has apparently begun replacing frames despite that appeals were filed in June and the settlement is not yet officially final...

That is my feeling, there's no way that ball of rust is worth $11k--even if KBB, NADA and others say it is...

I have an 05 and the frame on my truck had plenty of surface rust but the frame passes inspection, so I took it upon myself to try and preserve the frame. You can do that many ways. Its a 10+ year old truck and depending on what part of the country its been driven in it will have some rust.

Don't buy it. Use the money it would cost to get rid of all that rust for cool stuff. :bikewhoops::mudding:
