Does this 2016 Tacoma seem like a deal that is too good to be true?

Well i bought my taco in a Acura dealer, it was just traded, they make me what i felt it was a good deal, so to answer your question To Me it doesnt matter where i get the car from as long as is a reputable dealer.

For an SR5 AC? Seems average. Isn’t it not much more new?

It would be cheap if it was an offroad. SR5 access cab is about right.

Looks legit to me. Just a 4x4 V6 Access Cab SR5. Gonna need new tires ASAP, but other than that I'd give it a test drive and see how she does!

I bought my Taco from a Mazda dealership with a little more than 5k on the odometer. It has been problem and recall free. The only thing is to make sure you purchase a good warranty. My main concern was the electronics, so I bought the bumper to bumper extended warranty, good up to 80k miles.

That pricing is about right. They’re only a couple thousand away from MSRP for that model Tacoma. It’ll still be under Toyota’s 50k power train warranty. Anything electronic you’re on your own unless an extended warranty was purchased when it rolled off the lot.

I would avoid buying from a buy here pay here. Most of them have super sketch sales tactics so if anything was wrong with the truck who knows how well it was repaired. At least at a “name brand” dealership they have Higher set corporate standards so you’d be in a better position to get it from for example a Honda dealership just because they have High standards

Not a fan of the used car lots like this, but the price seems about right for a 2016 SR5. I'm guessing it was a lease return that the dealer bought at auction. Do a Carfax report on it.

Something is up with that truck it'll probably be more apparent when you see it in person or have it inspected. Carfax is clean no red flags there, 1-owner. And IF the truck was nice it would be a pretty good deal.

But this dealership got this at an auction, there is a reason it was kicked to auction in the first place instead of being sold at whoever took it in on trade.

This particular one was graded a 2.4/5 on the auction condition report. Unfortunately since it already sold I can't see WHY it was graded a 2.4 just that it was.

Don't know if the tires are original, but they look pretty worn.
