    This was my first time installing a lift on a Taco so I'd like to know what you all think. Here are pics of my CVs following an adjustment of my Toytec coil overs to bring up the front end. I'm still sitting with about a half inch of front rake, but I'm thinking of bringing it down if this looks bad. What do you think of the CV angles? Too much or okay? Thanks for your input!

    No, I skipped the diff drop. Didn't want to negate any of the clearance I got with the lift, but I did think about it.

    just a couple comfort items.
    It's hard for me to see in your pics, but You really don't want the boot fins on the diff side rubbing each other. Unless you want to be replacing boots way sooner than necessary. If you can easily slip a business card between the fins at ride height you are good. Also if those coil overs are new they will probably settle a little over the next month or so.

    The fins don't touch at the lower boots but I'll have to check the uppers. I'm assuming that also means they shouldn't touch when the wheels are straight... it is normal for them to touch if the wheels are turned, isn't it? I hope so anyway!

    i think there is a test you can do.. if you can slide a piece of paper between your upper boot fins then your good.

    Had tons on the old Taco's.... new Tundra is pretty stock
    they look fine to me, though i'd flip the lower shock bolt around. On my truck, when the suspension goes to full droop the outer CV boot touches the bolt otherwise. Just looking out for ya so you dont tear up the boots any faster than necessary

    Took a look and I guess I did it right the first time... the bolts are set so the nuts are to the front (that sounds dirty ;) ). Guess it just looked like the opposite direction in the pics but all is well.
