Does this look right???

Yeah, let us know how they look...I got jacked on a set of HID's that were not the Hi/Lo HID...I had to modify my housing so it wasn't blinding people.

 

damn, sorry to hear that. did you have to modify the housing because it was the wrong bulb, or will i have to do it as well. not a big deal if i do

 

If you're using stock housings (which I assume you are) then the HID's will have glare to them and some bright spots. There is another thread that hits on that here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/74666-does-look-right.html

I just had to put some metal tape around the hid cutoff to widen it and cut the light off where it's supposed to be so I wouldn't be blinding oncoming traffic.

 

i'm good at the mechanical and most wiring stuff, but i don't really knwo much about HID parts. when you say, around the cutoff, what part is that exactly

 

you'll see when you get your headlights. it should be a metal piece running the length of the bulb. It wasn't cutting the light off at the middle like it was supposed to.

Good timing on ordering them from DDM, as I believe they just got a shipment in (mine shipped today - ordered on 1/31). Well, unless they've run out of em again.

 

I want to get the same setup, when on the DDM site where do you get the fog lights, is it under kits as well or just replacement bulbs?
