The truck is replaceable, I would pull everything aftermarket you can salvage off of it that is not damaged including the topper, and rims, and whatever else is not damaged, cut your losses with the truck and start searching for a new vehicle.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and the timing that this stuff happened in couldn't had been at the worst moment in your life. Be safe out there, one step at a time, and mourn your loss in peace. :(

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a family member is one of the most difficult challenges in life.

Your truck does appear to be totaled. The suggestions in some of the post may help minimize your financial loss.

Take care of yourself and be with good people during the grieving process.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO ACCEPT WHAT INSURANCE OFFERS, FIGHT FOR EVERY DOLLAR.

TAKE EVERY PART OFF THAT TRUCK YOU CAN ASAP, PAY A FRIEND 50 BUCKS WHATEVER GET IT DONE NOW.

...that's basically the pertinent points at this moment. Anything else wouldn't be nearly as time sensitive

Thanks for the beta and support. The wheels I got used for ~250 so maybe only worth the cost it would take to remove them? I guess I'm having a hard time picturing myself finding some shitty bald ones, getting them there with a jack and removing them and such. Maybe I am not that motivated. but I just moved to Spokane so I don't have a shop guy and handy friends with trucks and the like. The Leer topper was great but it never fit right after I rolled the truck (gently...off a mountain road into fresh pow, but 9000$ in damages for that incident. Two days after being in an avalanche. also a bad week, ha). Can't imagine it is worth much now but I am wondering if it will count for anything at all to the adjuster. Cost 1200 new but I prob wouldn't be able to sell it for 400. Will go get the amp and sub though. Anyway, looking for a new truck I guess : /

Sorry for your loss and all the bad luck you have been having.
The truck is totaled in my opinion.
Wheels and tires might not be worth replacing before the insurance adjuster gets ahold of it. They wont add to the cost of your claim.
The topper should add to the total of your claim but will be minimal. I would think it would be worth it to remove and sell on craigslist.
Subs and amp for sure should be removed and moved to your new truck.

Good luck with the search for a new truck.

I did go back to the lot today with some tools to grab the stereo out of it... the tow shop gal told me not to, f*ck it- The doors don't lock. I feel violated like this, with a taco instead of a prius https://youtu.be/LWmNIgKlsEA
