I was the unfortunate tail end of 4 car pile up. Everyone is OK, but my Tacoma is hurt. By all appearances there's no structural damage, but do you think they'll total my beloved 06 access cab TRD OR 4X4 w/160k? Sorry for all of the seriously poor pics and thanks for all of your guys help. 20170204_185337.jpg 20170204_201053.jpg

Well only insurance can say for sure. We're just speculating at this point, but it is most likely totaled. Best thing is everyone is ok. But the Tacoma on the other hand...it hurts to see.

Crap guys, I was really hoping she could be saved because most of what's broken is plastic/cheap minus the hood and one fender.

Probably looks bad in person, it looks bad in pictures. I would guess about $6k in damages if the frame wasn't touched, probably not totaled especially if the air bags didn't deploy. If they did I'm going with totaled.

Glad everyone was ok as well. I was in one just last week, my truck faired much better than yours but I could give a shit less as long as everyone walked away.

I'm with the "they will fix it" crowd.

If no frame or air bags to deal with, it will get put back together.

Keep us posted on what you find out.

Personally if it were mine I would hope they would total it and give me a fat check to buy something that hasn't been wrecked. When I was hit the other day and was knocked on two wheels I thought for a split second to turn into the roll just so they would total my truck but decided against it since my kids were in the truck.

I'd hope it gets totalled out, buy it back on a salvage title, and rebuild it.

New hood, new grill, new radiator. Plate bumper. Bend / cut out whatever you need to do the core support. Plate it /tube it back.

Fenders look like they survived, headlight good too?

Speaking from 4 years of being a parts manager at a body shop. I can tell you that the parts that were damaged parts are the most common replaced parts. Crash parts + no srs deployments + no frame damaged = Survivor. Damage looks high away from the frame.

So can you say who would win the showcase showdown? An educated guess on what it would cost to fix.
