The only way i would want a tundra is if they come out with a diesel. I would be all over that.

the only reason why sometime i would like a tundra is that im 6'5 and the windshield in our trucks are really low and i have to lean over to see the traffic lights sometimes.

If i ever get another Full sized truck, id prob go with a Tundra or a F150. Dodges = shit quality and Chevys looks like shit.

We all love Toyotas here I get that! But the tacoma is a perfect sized DD and offroad if you want a full size buy a Dodge Cummins or Ford Powerstroke, with 4wd they also have Straight axle which a Tundra doesn't. IMO the Tundra is undersized full size. With Tundra IFS just like the Chevy, things break IFS on a Fullsize 4X4 is always been beyond me (a stupid weak ride quailty thing). The Dodge and Ford have 4 link in the front now which rides just as good as IFS and is strong as hell with the Straight axle. Buying a Tundras is a waste of money in IMHO.

I think the new tundras are absolutely hideous. I would love a 1st gen tundra though.

new tundra's looks just don't do it for me. the new ones just look funky, deformed, huge body, and idk, just reminds me of the weird body styling of the chevy hhr. of course any dude wants a bigger, stronger motor, a little more leg room: pretty much everything bigger, it's just a guy thing i guess. but i don't really need that, nor can i afford that. right now, if i needed something bigger for work or a family, i would go with an '04 to '07 f-150 or '01 to '05 f-350. but the fact is that i don't need either of those, or the tundra. the taco does everything i need it to do. it gets good gas, it's small enough to not be a hassle to get around in, it's cheaper, and overall more economical for everyday use. i would consider a f-250 or 350 class diesel made by toyota if they ever came out with one and it wasn't butt ugly.

sadly, I've only put Husky Liners in it thus far - tend to blow all my cash on my bikes and guitars.
I got an '09 Tundra as a loaner while my '08 was being delivered........they let me take it for a few days -- power was amazing for that size of truck.......the loaner was an extended cab 2WD automatic.......got awesome mileage at idle!!
But have to say no, just don't need that much truck.......at least not yet
