Does Toyota warranty cover hydrolock blown engine

I was pretty shocked that the Toyota warranty didn’t cover when I let my truck roll out of my driveway.

 

Went through a big puddle on the road and engine stalled out instantly

Sorry I put the 'Adventure Overland' and 'Hydro-locked' together. If Toyota does not cover it you may be covered under your auto insurance. They may however rate is an at fault loss. Your agent or broker would be able to confirm.

Yup. All they have is evidence they find under the hood, and water in the engine isn’t going to be a warranty item.

as long you weren't driving underwater or thru deep puddles, it should be covered. but i doubt it hydrolocked if you weren't doing those things.
