Pretty random question that’s been bugging me for the last week. Hopefully, you guys can answer it.

I have a 2wd TRD Off Road, if that matters.

Say, while off roading, I’m idle-crawling, and somehow, one rear tire lifts in the air and starts spinning, will traction control take over? Or will I be left idle-spinning?

2wd TRD Off Road should have a rear locker - hence no one tire spinning. If not locked and idling along the traction ctrl will not work without applying some gas. Further, you will want to disable the traction control - at the button - counter intuitive I know - to disable the engine retardation aspect of the traction ctrl system. Also, applying a little break as you apply gas will help the pseudo limited slip system do it's job.
