i was talkin to my dad the other day tryin to convince him to let me lift my tacoma. i showed him a pic of one with a 3 inch lift and he told me he could hardly tell it was lifted. so i was thinkin, maybe you can see the difference in person better?? what do u guys think of the ones who have 3 inch lifts? Can u tell a noticeable difference after you lifted from stock? pic comparison would be great too. thanks

yes you can tell. because most of the time you also go to a bigger tire, like a 33. so from a 29'' tire (thats what was on my 01) to a 33, you get 2 inches of clearance. plus the 2 to 3 inches from your lift.

A little off topic, but can you guys with a 3" lift and 33's still fit in most underground parking lots?

Yes you can tell for sure! You will love the new look of it if you end up doing it. I really like the 3" because its not to high and its not to low. I think the 6" is a little to much for me. But I do like the look of 6"s on the long beds though.:D People that own Tacoma's will definetaly know your truck is lifted. Others some times don't really notice. I can care less what others think, I love my truck the way it is!!!:p

I'm doing 1.75" up front and 1.5 in the rear. I don't really care if people notice its lifted. I actually prefer they think the truck is stock and just that badass!

3" is just too high for me (actually my wife) but it's the norm around here...and for good reason - it looks badass!

Are you going to be getting different tires or wheels, or both if you end up lifting it?
