Mine makes a little "squeeeeesh" sound when I first apply pressure to the pedal. Kind of annoying, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

More often than not, when I hit the brake a noise comes out of my mouth that sounds like "what the hell is that idiot in front of me braking for?!".

While I'm bitchin' up a storm, the little whirring sounds when I turn the truck off also annoys me. LOL

    "Whirrz...bzzzzt!"

This is a very common thing, especially if you have a TRD Offroad.

Any knowledge as to why it's most prevalent on the OR? I can't figure that out.....

The TRD OR has the hydraulic brake assist and all the other crap attached to the booster for the DAC, etc... The noise is the unfortunate side effect of having all the extra gizmos we get with the TRD OR. Weirded me out the first time I heard it.

My '14 does that too and it doesn't have any of the fancy TRD OR stuff. I'd never heard another vehicle do that and it freaked me out!

If you think that's odd, wait until you're on an incline and have a slight bit of reward movement!

Ohh. That is why it makes that noise. My OR has done this from the start and I have now gotten used to it but always wondered.
    I love this site.
