This is exactly why I hate to see no haggle pricing. All of the ones that over pay allow the hagglers pay less. Took my ex wife to buy a new truck once. She had never bought a new vehicle. After picking out the truck we wanted and going back in to the dealership to start negotiating she looked at me and said "is that what we are paying for that truck". Of course she was talking about the window sticker. I said "hell no and just shut up".

They literally sat down to think "how can we mark these way up" - and THAT is what they came up with. Amazing.

I posted something on ridiculously priced Tundras loaded up with over priced dealer options but the Tacoma I just saw on Auto Trader takes the cake. I have been looking at prices because I will be selling my Tacoma and buying a Tundra. Also, looking for a truck for my son. The Tacoma I saw on Auto Trader had a list price of $62,039. MSP just below $38k. Dealer stated that we have done too much to this Tacoma to even list.

I didn't get good deals through truecar. We just had to contact 25 dealerships via email.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    "Professional delivery with technical assistance."

What the fuck? If ANYONE buys from this dealer they're completely worthless.

Fees aside, are people really paying MSRP? I just built a 2017 Tacoma DC 4x4 TRD Sport in Magnetic Gray with the Premium/Technology Package with JBL Audio options ($4365 option) and the total MSRP was $40,230.

It would help with the markups if they made more PRO's. There is a demand for them, so dealers are going to try and screw over the customers.

bummer, every time I have had a couple dealers bidding around invoice. Normally it goes directly to the fleet manager which is doing volume sales. The guys in the main showroom are trying to maximize the one sale.

This just looks like a way of masking a dealer mark-up fee. Plus, the line items like "Coutesy Shuttle" and "Professional delivery" are at least in my experience things that every dealer offers with a new vehicle purchase free of charge. That better be a pretty nice shuttle.

Check out Cobb County Toyota in Ga they are great to work with. They are straight forward and do not add the bull crap fees.

I've also had great luck with Autonation Toyota on Thornton Rd in Ga. If you check them out ask for Kevin Echols he's great to work with.
