Does your Tacoma have this door hinge crack?

    Noticed the sealant or adhesive behind the upper door hinge is cracking.
    Waiting to hear back from Toyota regarding this since I'm still under warranty.

    The door operates fine although possible problems down the road may occur.
    I wanted to see who else had this issue.

    OME 882s, OME shocks all around and OME Dakar spring packs, ARB, Warn 8000, ARE shell, Custom rear bumper w/ reciever, 5-235/80R17 Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX on FJ wheels, grey wire mod, Hi-Lift, Hellas, Red-Line hood lifters, Scion radio, sliders, Safari snorkel & LED Ditch lights on CBI mounts.
    That is not a weld, door hinges are bolted on.
    I bet that is just paint cracking on the sealer around your door hinge.
    I don't think it'll do any harm.

    yep...a weld that would look like that off the assembly line would be something to worry about;) If you poke the "weld" looking part with a knife it will undoubtedly be soft.

    I noticed right away it was not a weld, its some sort of adhesive or sealant.
    Just wanted to see how many members had this or if it was a common thing.
