Does your truck turn heads?

I get a few. I'm not really sure what they all mean. You get the looks from the guys in the f-150's, chevys/gmc's, and dodges. It's funny though, I usually get more when I have sunglasses on or windows up. They won't look much when the window is down or they can see my eyes. But when my sunglasses are on or windows are up and they don't think i notice them looking, they are looking it up and down at the red lights. It's kind of funny, it's like they are embarrassed for me to know that they are looking at it. And I am even talking about 2500's and 350's with 37's too, anybody else get those embarrassed lookers? Of course you get the looks from other tacomas. I haven't saw many other tacomas with many modifications other than maybe wheels and nicer tires. The one that I think is the funniest is the jeeps. I would almost guarantee that 3/4 of the jeeps that I pass have their heads on a swivel, envying the tacoma and regretting their mistake, lol. And last but not least, it is always pleasing to pass a car full of girls or some walking down the sidewalk and their eyes follow you or you see them talking to one another as they eyeball the truck/you .

I like the looks, they sort of tell me "good job." I don't think I have ever had a negative type look that I know of. I've had a few people ask me some questions, gotten several comments, and one guy actually offered to buy it. But I probably don't get any more looks or comments than any of you other guys. I just live in a small town, so it seems like a lot, lol.

 

I've noticed my truck turns a lot of heads too. Especially other truck owners or from people driving done up cars.... Not many Tacoma's in my area though so i think that may have something to do with it. Front bumper and high clearance rear bumper also help make it a looker and my soon to arrive snorkel will probably make the starring worse.

 

Have had more than a few people comment on the truck.

of course, im always willing to talk about it.

Hell, a friend of the family just got a 2011 tacoma after asking me about mine

 

I get it all the time! lol... there are quite a few lifted Tacoma's in my area but none that have the sdet-up I do... mines unique!
Today a couple guys in a old toyota pickup actually slowed down to get next to me so they can check out my suspension setup and what not... Cant wait till I get my Icons though!

 

Some guy in a primered first gen tundra was checkin out my truck at a stop light yesterday. and my neighbors always say its nice and really like what ive done with it

 

Yeap noticed that ever since I got the snorkel installed. They look dumbfounded as to WTF is that?

haha you better. no but for real, good looking truck. i wish allpro still made the hybrid, its the only aftermarket bumper i actually like. when i come home, maybe we can grab a few beers and shoot the shit so i can look at it and dream lol

Ya, my truck tends to get some looks. My GF seems to notice people checking it out then I do, but thats probably because i'm lookin at the road and she's riding shotgun looking around

I dont get looks from the layman, only those in the know respect my junk. Like the dude eating a taco in a 94 regular cab on the 30 east comin back from hooters.. Rock on man, eat that fuckin taco!
