She drives it when she wants to haul something or when the Highlander is indisposed.

Not yet, even though I told her she could. I suppose she thinks I am a little OCD about it lol. But hey, it is black and shows everything!

No doubt, it's for everyone, most just prefer the easy way today.

Same here. My wife is actually scared to drive it because she can't see over the hood ( and I'll be getting the scoop as well ) and she's already told me that she's never going to park it in the garage or near other vehicles in parking lots for that reason. That works for me.

Nope! I’ve never said she can’t, but she doesn’t. Too big I guess.

My Wife is under the impression that it's her truck. I let her drive it a couple of days a week. I've already lost a side mirror when it was under her watch.

Meanwhile, two weeks ago I avoided an accident while she was with me. Person went through a red light and was very close to T-boning me on my side, but I narrowly escaped using my superior reflexes and driving skill ;-)

How about this for a first post...

Wife and I go to prince of whales island for our 5yr... I park on the side of a small road, in front of a 3ft high, roughly 800# parking block.

I go into a store, she gets impatient and walks around the BACK of the truck, hops in and right as I'm leaving, I get to witness her mounting the damn thing in a truck that has 600mi on it. Pushed the thing about 6 feet...

Bent the bumper which is welded onto the frame. I was not pleased.

My wife does drive my truck occasionally. Her car is a 1994 Geo Metro (dont laugh, lol). When she drives my truck, she "complains" about:

    - The brakes (they are too "sensitive", or the truck "dives" when she applies them)
    - It is too "bouncy" when going over speed bumps or pot holes.
    - It "leans" too much when in turns.

    Workin' on it....
My wife drives my truck on occasion but she prefers not to. She has a 2500 Dodge 3/4 ton diesel horse hauler so she is used to driving larger vehicles but she prefers not to drive my truck because she knows how much I love that thing and she’d feel bad if she ended up in an accident with it regardless of whether it was her fault or not.

    Now there's a twist...

Kudos to you for being a dad instead of a best friend!

My Driver's Ed teacher in IL had a metal cylinder he'd put on the dash to see if you were taking corners too fast or sharp ( it would slide off the dash when you were ) and inevetibly, it would slide off and into the ashtray. It actually became a badge of honor to have dropped it in and since you had a driving partner from class in the back seat, you always had a witness. Some of us actually tried to get it in the ashtray, like me, and I got it in on my 2nd or 3rd try, then I started driving like I was supposed to. :D

Oh hell yes. She really likes my Tacoma, but hates all trashy tasteless redneck owned trucks.

No, she doesn't want to drive either of the Tacomas. We have several vehicles and she prefers to drive the others instead of the Tacomas. Her primary car is our Lexus LS 500, she really likes it too.

Out of the 4 cars she can only drive 2 because they are automatic. So she usually drives the jeep or the taco. The jeep gets taken first so if I take the jeep, she's stuck with the taco. But she also works from home...

    Stock for. Ow
My wife drives my Tacoma quiet a bit. It’s an automatic so now worries.

She also will drive my 2014 crewcab 2014 3500 Cummins flat bed dually. With a 6-speed manual. Plus her wrangler is manual. Only worry with the truck is that bitch is battleship to park

As for me, I daily a 01 accord with 325,000 and counting lol
