Alaskan Malamute Fur and a plethora of mods... because ...
I have a DCSB and simply use Dog Hammock Seat Covers in the rear. Search Amazon... Something like this - https://www.amazon.com/URPOWER-100-...=1597697358&sprefix=Back+Seat+,aps,197&sr=8-5

I have a 95 pound Alaskan Malamute. I go through about one a year. I also modded up a small moving Blanket under the hammock to help reinforce it. I like this set up.

There are some great ideas here - and I've seen enough to know they will work great!! We've owned GSDs for a long time...all have had (schutzhund) agitation harnesses. I like double cabs - but both will obviously work. We clip them in with clips, etc that my son uses to climb. Our dogs are/have been trained for family protection so we have always had a GSD on board. Here he has a quick release - in case he needed to be released quick (LOL) - the area had some shady folks and i actually snapped this pic to show he was secured. Good luck!!!!

Our GSD loves my daughter's little dog (and my other daughter's cat)...IMG_3065.jpg not a way to ride, unless around the property!

you should secure your dog when driving if you dont want that thing flying into your front windshield if you happen to have to make a hard stop.

I agree 100%. She is actually wearing a harness, that's just how fluffy they are :) The booster seat is actually made for dogs. It secures with the seat belt, and there is a small leash attached to it to secure them with.

They even make a "large" one. You know, for people who have dogs bigger than a cat....

So manliness is determined by dog breed?
Do Pit Bull owners have massive balls in your world?

He is trained not to eat or receive any pats during rides. Although if I really had an urge to pull over and give him a hug and pat on the back and share my favorite dog snack, the crate's door has enough clearance to swing open for him to go in/out ;)

Maybe some people see dogs as more than workers.

Worker dogs have great train-ability, all of my friends with little dogs have zero training. And most of them have a big dog little dog combo and the big dog is well behaved and the little one is a nightmare

My little dogs have never been nightmares.
    But I get your point.
