Dogs days of summer

Love that..most ones I know bite people's ankles because people think they're a house dog who doesn't need to work.

Had a big black one we just gave away. Your best bet to get the qualities you are striving for is to get one from overseas. There is a reason most of our elite mwd dogs and police dogs come from there. I'll keep an eye out for retired dogs for ya if you want. There is a very nice lady out of North Carolina, she doesn't have the highest quality working lines coming into the country or being bred but she can get you what your looking for.

 

I've posted this one in the aviation b.s. thread and the show us your dogs thread, but I like it, so I'll repeat it one last time, then retire it.

Not a truck, but bush planes are known as the pickups of the sky. The Beaver in particular has the reputation of being a flying half ton.

 

Please don't ever retire that beautiful pics of your plane & dogs..it should live on & on. I spend time in Olympic Natl park and would love to have that set up including the dogs

Fair enough. I'll repost whenever the opportunity presents itself. Lol! And I wish that it was my plane! It belonged to a company I worked for before I got it in my head that an airline job would be a more respectable way to make a living. You know, better pay, better schedule, etc. it was a woman that helped me draw that conclusion. Alas, you can take the boy out of the bush, but you can't take the bush out of the boy. I miss that flying everyday. Hopefully in a few years I'll have a plane tied to my dock. And it'll be all the more enjoyable flying on my own terms strictly for fun, not because I'm being paid.

 

Yes, I would very much to contact the lady in NC, or even get a retired dog. I would love to buy one of good breeding from overseas, but have no idea how to find a reputable kennel and avoid scams. It would be ideal to get m/f pups to raise. The only kennel I found is in Miami, but no way to verify anything, so a good recommendation is appreciated!

 

Yea bc things overseas are worse then used car dealers / lots here. Ask me how I know. I'll try and dig her info up. She had a gorgeous long hair shep for sale, Elvis was his name. She bragged and bragged on him. I caught him one time to see if he backed up her praises, nope.

 

Wow, worse than used car lots!?! So is she reliable if her bragging on the shep isn't all that?

Was looking for some police level, but not required. Pet more of what I'm looking for, so that should work out fine.

This is my little rescue dude, Jase. Glad he picked the QS taco for me to shuttle him around Built a booster bed for the back so he can sniff out the back window. He makes a lot of friends at traffic lights.

Here's my traildog, Corra. She goes everywhere with me except work, though I've taken her to a couple meetings.

 

Corra looks like she has the best life ever..wonder if those meetings are boring for her compared to the trail..love taking my dogs trail running behind my house
