Build a platform. You shouldn't have a problem getting 1 GSD in there, anything bigger, maybe the answer is different. Check out the Access Cab Dog Platform Thread, I'm post 27 (I'm also #12 here). I think there are other similar threads also.

My WGSD is in the 85-90lbs range. I also have kids, so had to come up with a bed based solution (posted previously in this thread, but not the pictures below)

    Handsome pups!

My in bed kennel solution. @OverlandRacksOntario is designing me a bedrack solution for the RTT and awning that will work with the kennel. So these photos are a little old and only show the work in progress, I've already built magnetic mesh screens for the windows and doors for the kennel to keep the pups safe from bugs during warm weather camping. Currently looking at insulation solutions and an interior skin for the framing for fall camping. Access Cabs and DCLB works without cargo capacity taking a massive hit. DCSBs, wouldn't recommend this.

What is a good dog fur repelling rear seat cover? I have the weathertech one, but my labs fur sticks to it like glue and it's hard as hell to clean.
