Any chance you'll make these for the passenger side too?

As soon as I'm happy with the final design, I'll start a list with a discount for preorders.

It's just the metal reinforcement, you re-use your original plastic shield.

I thought this poll was for ,"
Is your drivers seat side cover missing/torn or damaged?" No mention of the metal underneath in OP

Started as a poll but then I started making a reinforcement for it.

You can still buy them from Toyota. The reinforcement keeps it from breaking again.

If you buy the plastic cover only you will crack it again at some point, it's a poorly engineered part of the truck. The $40 reinforcement is to prevent you from paying $60-100+ for a cover then watch it break.

interested. When I had some of my interior redone, the uphostery shop tried to use screws and bailing wire to get it back on nice. It looked great for about a week then it broke off again. Mine is in great shape, aside from the clips being wasted. I see your screws, would I be able to keep mine with your plate or would I require a new one?

I'm in the same boat with broken clips. I just stuck it back in place and avoid sliding on it when I get in and out.

Mine broke when I lifted my truck. I was off roading some where and needed to exit the truck while it was leaned over.
Now I just lean out and put my left hand on the slider and hop out. When getting in grab the oh shit handle with my right and swing myself onto the seat.

I'd never planned on replacing the broken part until I saw this.

    Count me in.
