Recently I’ve Been doing some wiring of the rear bed lights to come on when the interior lights do. Now my interior lights won’t dim or go off when the truck is off, unless I turn them to off.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

    - I did check the fuse which blow and I replaced but still not operating as should.
    - my thought is it’s the relay or the map light assembly.

Unhook what you did and see if they return to normal

I didn’t get to finish wiring, so I never hooked up anything new. So it’s all back to the way it was.

I went back thru all the changes I made And found nothing that seemed to show any issues or be unhooked.

Thats what I was reading. The thing is, I didn’t run any grounds or change anything after I opened up the dome light assembly and tested the wires to it. I think the light assembly may have melted the negative which you are talking about. I’ve put back everything which really wasn’t anything taken apart.

I’m at the dealership now as it is under warranty and trying to get them to take a look. I’ll keep you posted.

Dont be alarmed if they charge you. Warranty does not cover customer induced issues. You may get lucky and they cover it if they do not see any evidence you tampered with it, but be ready and dont throw a fit if you have to pay.
