Dome fuse 23’ Tacoma

Anybody having this issue? I currently have the Meso customs V2 dome and map lights installed in my truck. I also have Vled footwell lighting installed in the truck. I keep popping the fuse for the dome lights. It seems that when the map lights are in red, when I lock the truck the maps will dim but not shut off but the dome light shuts off. If I turn the white lights on they will shut off when truck locks. It seems when I use the switch on the dome, it pops the breaker. I can’t pinpoint what is really going on.

There many posts associated with dome light led bulb retrofits damaging expensive electrical components. Do some searching within the 3rd gen form and be careful.

Thanks guys. I think I have narrowed it down to the footwell light wiring harness going faulty. The footwell lights remain with a full constant, which in turn is sending that constant signal through to the map lights. That’s my theory, I haven’t pulled the wiring harness for the footwell lighting out of the truck yet to test this theory.
