I'm a newbie and just installed a set of DDM 6000K xenon lights and it was simple and looks great!
So I decided to try the Map light's on with the dome light and now i dont have any lights.......... I put everything back to the way it was except the diode is still attached to the map light. Also my clock is dim as well as not having a dome or map lights. Can anyone help me out?? :(

Do you have the switch set to ON or DOOR vs OFF?

If that diode were backwards do you think it would affect the lights??
And the punching idea is sounding good about now!

Yes a diode is directional. You have to put it in the right direction.
