Dome light won't work, checked everything

    Hi, I have a 1998 toyota tacoma 2.4 regular cab
    no power windows or power door locks.
    My dome light won't work. I already checked the fuses.
    Gauge and dome fuse are ok.
    Replaced bulb and still didn't work. Can anybody help me out. Thanks

    are the jamb switches working could be filled with dirt not allowing it to release

    Yes they do work, they move freely. I don't know what else to check

    Bilsteins, OME 881's, 3-leaf AAL, Detroit TruTrac, Tundra brake swap, Michelin LTX AT2, Tranny skidplate, TC skidplate, CBI rear bumper, TG sliders, UltraGauge, PowerTank, Reverse Camera
    You need to trace the problem back from the dome-light switch itself.

    Check whether or not there is power at the switch. The all black wire should be hot all the time.

    Also, check if there is power at the dome fuse. One side should be hot all the time.

    If you don't have a multi-meter for this, get one. If you don't have one, or know how to use one, then ask someone to help you.
