for some reason when I open the doors on my truck the dome and map lights do not come on anymore.

I have the dash switch set to door and the dome light itself is turned on.

Is there any other setting to turn this on or off or is it just another problem I can add to the list of issues after only 8000 miles.

Both front and rear don't come on? Or is it just the front not working

The map lights will come on if I click them on but no interior lights come on when the door is open.

I normally wouldn't think it's a big deal but it is pretty frustrating looking for something in the truck while it's freezing out and dark. :frusty:

That's strange. The only ones I know of is the door switch like you said up by the dome lights. I'll go fool around in mine and see if I can replicate

    Thank you very much.

I know there's the switch on your left side of the dash and the switch on the light.

I can't think of any other setting to change it

It seems like someone else had an issue with the dome lights. I will see if I can dig up some old threads.
Have you done anything to the lights, such as change the bulbs to LED?

Sorry, the only ones I could find were the dome light would not turn off, and some on changing the bulbs.

That's ok. I could go check the bulbs and replace it but I'm half tempted to book it into the dealer just because it's so new. Plus since the map lights aren't coming on it must be more than the bulb

OP just to clarify, the map lights will come on when you click them? And you have tried every setting the switch next to the map lights have to offer (mine has 3 different settings)? Does the dome light come on at all? For reference, map lights are closest to the windshield and domw light is in the middle of the ceiling/roof. My truck is the Offroad with manual transmission just for reference. If you have the auto transmission, it might be different.

Hey OP any luck? I am having the same issue with my 2012.
Just went to the dealer today to ask them if they could take a look, and the guy said it would be $160 just to look at it. Not including fixing it. So that's out the door.
    Thanks!

Are you using the wrong switch? The one to the left of the steering wheel controls the light on the outside of the cab that illuminates the bed. There's also the switch built into the light itself that you turn on/off by pressing the light. Then there is a 3 - way toggle switch right in front of the map lights that allows you to switch them from ON, DOOR, OFF. Is that one switched to OFF, causing your issue?
