I know there is a 1,000 posts on lifts.... Let me start off with I don’t go off roading. I am looking for a lift on my 2017 TRD sport. My dealer installs rough country 3/2 and a local shop installs ready lift 3/2 lift. There’s about a $200 difference between the two. Anyone have any real reviews on either? Not the keyboard cowboys!

I had ready lift 3/2 and I personally didn’t like the ride (harsh) . I’d save an get 5100’s or something similar which is suggested in the other 1000 posts.

Oh no, I'm sure there's more than that. There's probably been 1,000 made since Jan 1 of this year.

If you read those 1000+ posts on this exact subject, you'll learn that the 3/2 lifts are perfectly fine if all you care about is how your truck looks. You'll also see most people talk about how much they hate the harshness of the block lifts, and how it's always a better idea to save up money for 5100's instead.

At the end of the day, the people saying those things will be correct all 1000+ times.

With lifts, you generally get what you pay for -- with the exception of huge dealership premiums for garbage parts.

Take your time, do it right, or you will quite possibly hate the results. Hell, you might even hate driving your truck.

Back on topic. They will both suck. So, logically, do the cheapest one and save that $200 for when you have to do it over.

The ready lift looks to cost about $360 for parts online. How much are your two sources charging for labor?
