well me and my dad done some work to my truck this weekend, i ripped a boot on my drivers cvb axle so i replaced it. it came apart when i pulled it out so i guess it was ready to be replaced ha ha and i replaced the front diff. seal while i was in there
    [IMG]
both lower ball joints had 180,xxx miles on them and have been beat on pretty good so i replaced them. they had very little slack in them.

[IMG]this one was blurry for some reason. but here is the new moog ball lower ball joints, i replaced both driver and passenger side.
i replaced the steering rack, it had a little slack in it so its all bright and new. and both new cv axles in one box.

Was it difficult to replace the rack? did you have knocking in the steering?

na no knocking but the inner tie rod ends had a little slack in them and i had the money to do it now so i went ahead while i had it torn apart. I was in a full out ase certified mechanic shop with every tool i could think of needing at my disposal so it was fairly easy. it would be a pain in the rear to do at home i can take pictures and give you a better idea on what it takes to replace it if you'd like?
