So I tried sending Dongar this question, and no response from them.
I wanted to go with the Garmin Mini2. Easy peasy, the dongar plugs into mirror, and cam into dongar.

I saw that Garmin had the ability to add multiple cams.
So I was thinking about adding another Mini2 to the rear.
Powering it however will be questionable.
I asked Dongar if they made a harness for the rear of the truck ... no response.
I asked another question, can you mount 2 of their units in series and have everything still work ok? That way I just run a cable to the back of the cab and have power to the back unit also.

Or is there anything I'm missing?

I don't think Dongar makes anything specifically for the rear. If you have a rear USB you could use a second Dongar adapter and route your camera harness to it. Or maybe you could adapt one of these to work with 12vdc switched power that's only on when the ignition is on.

you know if there's a 12v source that's hot with ignition on? I think that the bed lighting would be only active when the switch is on. I might rip the back apart and see if there's a hot wire I can use.
Thanks for the link, didn't even look at other stuff. Appreciate it.

I don't know what would be best/easiest to tie into in the area of the rear window. Maybe there's wiring there that would be for the JBL amplifier? But I don't know if that would have a circuit that's hot only with ignition on.

I would just add a fuse tap to an ignition on circuit in the under dash fuse box and run a wire back to where you want to mount the camera. Since there's no devices back there to tap off of, I doubt Dongar would make anything to do what you want.

I'd have to find a way to convert a hot wire to Micro USB. which is what the dongar is made for.

Amazon has Micro USB cables with pigtail wires. Solder and heat shrink tubing.

You can also try the fit cam 4k with the rear cam. That's what I was using before I sold the truck, it was a solid camera.
