Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
Did you still have to break the plugs loose with a different ratchet?
Also are talking about/using something like aeroshell when you say silver anti-seize? thx

Not sure what you are asking. If you are asking about a conventional ratchet vs torque wrench, it's best practice to not loosen anything with a torque wrench

No. I used a 3/8 ratchet. The same one I installed them with.
I just had to go back and forth, back and forth..........over and over, to get them out.

As for "silver". They make a copper and silver colored Anti-seize.
I used the Silver color last time.

I dab the plugs if they came out rough, otherwise I go in dry.

Typically 1GRs arent too bad if you do them on time ;)

The worst part was getting the #2 coil plug undone.
It will come ALMOST all the way off. But then it hits the intake.
Unbolting the and turning it counter clockwise just a bit helped.

I had forgot about that the first time I did them.
That or I wasn't holding my mouth right.....

    I know you were.

I have, and will, pay people to work on my truck under certain circumstances.

The rear wheel bearings are NOT going to be done by me.
At least not the pressing part.

I only work on my truck to save myself money.
I have no issues with others working on my truck.
I don't have trust issues. We all have to learn some how.

Definitely relate here..I'm on my first set of drums still and the day they need done, I'm paying a shop. I never really learned how to do those anyway plus 15 yrs of New England weather.

Those swivels that were posted looked like they just turn by hand like a screw driver (maybe i assumed wrong). If that was the case I was wondering if they still broke the plugs free.

Yes. They broke the plugs loose.
They fit a 3/8 drive ratchet.

If I were to guess. They were about 30 ft/lbs coming out. No issues with the sockets.

I just changed mine @ 90K miles on current ones AND installed new Ignition Coils (as I had an issue). I used DENSO Copper Plugs & DENSO IC's. Wasn't a bad job really and I'm not an automotive kind of guy. Torqued everything per specs and I'm good to go. A little sad that my favorite 12 mm 6-sided short socket got lost somewhere when it fell down in the engine compartment area and man I looked everywhere for that dude for days. NOTE: When the narrator voice in your head tells you, "don't rest that tool (part/piece) there or it may fall into the 'void', then pay attention and don't do that"

You can be like me, buy my 2015 used with almost 177k miles on the originals. I bought new ones planning to change them. Then, it started missing. And low and behold, i seen one bank was ngk and one bank was denso, so, I knew they were the originals.
