Cause he felt the need to use the fact he spent a lot of money as a reason he should have gotten better treatment

To be fair, if I paid that much money Id expect white-glove service every time I came in for an oil change.

Let me revise that. The dealer that sold my mom's $50,000 Mercedes will pick up and drop the car from her driveway for it's scheduled maintenance. For free. When the plates arrived a tech delivered them to her office and called her to say they were installed. That's literally the kind of attention that I would expect for 50 large.

When you come on a forum such as TW and you tell everyone how you paid $49,000 in cash for a 2018 Pro, why would you be surprised at the response?

He posted negative info about the dealership. No one asked him how much he paid. He decided to tell everyone not only what he paid but that he paid cash. He definitely got screwed man.

It’s not even a 2019 for Christ’s sake. If nothing else... The dealership shouldn’t be frequented for not being willing to work with their cash paying customers. How’s that?

Almost bought a tacoma from there, 2007 trd 4x4 dcsb for 16000 with 96k miles It was going to get a new frame and they wouldn't even let me put a deposit on it. Said they'd call me as soon as it was done, should be done in a month. That was May! Glad I kept shopping and it didn't work out I guess.

Rookies... My line is always " Awe man I missed the last sale due to being out of town for work, I called to see if you guys could do something for me...Brent I think,...no Brian, yeah, he said it would be ok to come in and still get the sale price...man I wouldnt have driven all the way down here...." . People dont want conflict, they want happy customers.

Appreciate it. However, I find it very hard to believe he bought a pro out the door 44k. Base price is 47k with no add ons. In fact they had a voodoo blue one that was a 6-speed manual 19 model it was $52,000 plus tax total and license. Not that I wanted a manual but they wouldn't even budge on that price. And maybe I could have haggled a few hundred dollars more but there's no way I would have gotten it much cheaper than that. Problem is it's such a rare truck. Only seen one other Pro in person and that was in Baton Rouge.

That’s where I purchased my 2019 Tacoma 4 weeks ago, they pulled my credit multiply times, my score took a hit. Saleman told me 20 times he needed a 100 on the survey, I finally told him, if you say that one more time it’s going to be a very bad survey, he’s look was priceless : )

It’s a very large dealer, you just a number.

PS, I still have not filled out the survey, lol.

It was still way cheaper than a Raptor or Jeep Rubicon. I was looking at a Rubicon and they didn't want to help me at all even with cash money I was pretty much told we sell too many of them and there's no way we can knock anything off. 58k what's the cheapest Jeep I could find in a Rubicon and it didn't have half of what the pro has standard.

Come standard with the TRD tuned Fox suspension. 2.5 internal bypass shocks.

Negative this is he way to go, and cheaper for all 3 parts than the overpriced $3300.00 non adjustable shocks.

Is everyone just trying to kick op when he already down ? lol OP so long as you happy with your truck, thats all that matters. Everyone is an accountant/hedge fund manager/mom&dad in here all of the sudden. In the grand scheme of things, there are more important things than money to worry about. And that boss that got a discount on toilet paper is an idiot.

I work next to a business in Baton Rouge where someone has a cement Pro. Other than that, I’ve only seen two others (white and red) in BR. They’re pretty rare around here. Shit, there aren’t many 3rd gen Tacoma’s in general. Just a bunch of Jeeps and bro dozers.
