I'm guessing the real problem for OP is that he has a new turd gen that went bad on him that he's still paying probably 800/month for and he desperately needs the 100 to eat or something. Maybe he should of prioritized. Either way he's needs to calm down. It sounds like all will be good if he just waits.

 

I like Canadians. Problem here is not knowing how stuff works and applying that knowledge.

 

I'd suggest it's more that OP has issues with waiting and some online rage issues but yes that's a part of it.

I live in Canada. I buy in the US. I pay with PayPal from a verified account. I use three different US addresses to ship to. Two in MA, and one in NY. My friends/family in MA bring my stuff up to me. I go pick up in NY at my drop box. I always tell the seller where I'm from and where to ship. Never had a problem.

However, when I go to sell something through eBay/PayPal, they always screw me on both ends with fees and hold my money. It is just the way it is.

I recently made a payment and misspelled the email account. I cancelled the transaction instantly, retyped and sent money to the proper seller address. They went ahead and took $450 from my account for the cancelled transaction the very next day (and held it for seven plus working days), and the proper transaction 3 days later.

It's PayPal that's screwing you around by saying that he needs to confirm receipt of the goods. That's BS.

Fucking get over it and stop blaming the buyer.

 

Canada is a proper noun, therefore it needs to be capitalized. Blame that on Chaucer.

I haven't read through this entire thread, and I'm sure others have suggested this, but when you figured out that the buyer wasn't in the US, why didn't you just not ship the doors to him and kinky refund his money explaining why, and then re-list your doors and specify that you will only ship to the Lower 48 / Continental USA? If I put anything up for sale I ALWAYS make that statement. You wouldn't have been charged any fee to give a buyer a refund through PayPal.
