Especially while working. According to one of our customers, she backed up, got out and looked at it, then left. Luckily he got her tags for me. The funny thing was, it was another silver taco that hit me, lol. Taco on taco hate crimes

People suck. At least she could have left a "sorry I'm a dumbass and ran into your truck" note.

Yeah it's being taken care of. Cops found her and she admitted to hitting it. I just don't know what I would've done if the guy hadn't told me. This is the second time someone has hit my truck and left. First time I wasn't so lucky and had to pay my deductible.

Thank you witnesses! Yep, had it happen with a pool maintenance guy at the city pool 4 years ago. He backed out and completely wiped out the driver's rear quarter of our '04 Sienna ($5K in damages). Took off but someone saw what he did and called the police after writing down the company's name. Wife gets back to the van to find 2 cops standing around waiting for her, "Are you the owner of this vehicle?" She's like, "Uh, yeah?" Then they showed her the damage. His company had no problem paying the claim, but they never did do anything to the driver as far as pressing charges. Maybe he lost his job, IDK. That's why people keep doing stuff like this because with budget shortages they don't have time to prosecute. BTW, the driver claimed he thought he hit a cone (our van was Red).

Then just the other day I was sitting at the park n ride waiting for a co-worker to pick me up. All of a sudden, my truck jolts forward. ?? Women pulling into the spot on the passenger side hit me. While she's still pulling in (after backing up and trying again), I check for damage. Nothing, nada, zip! I then realized she hit my tire with her front bumper (new wheels with bigger offset helped avoid body damage, woohoo!). So I just get back in my truck. Meanwhile, she gets out and heads to the waiting commuter bus. She didn't say a word!

Had this happen twice in my Mazdaspeed6. The sad thing is that I'm one of those guys who parks waaaay out in the middle of nowhere in the parking lots, PURELY because I enjoy the walk in and out of buildings. Never got tags, a note, or anything.

That said, if you ever see this happen, make sure you leave a note for the person. I did that once, left my name and phone number. Got a call later from the person -- they were ecstatic that I had helped out.

Hit and runs do suck. One night my dad left his Tundra parked in the yard right on the edge of the road and the next morning we came out and his driver side tailight was completely busted and his bumper was crushed along with part of his tailgate.

Thats the same thing I do, I park in the far away area of any parking lot where nobody else parks,, and I don't mind walking a long distance to the store or business, "BUT" when I come back out I always find vehicles parked next to me, and its always other pickups.
Are guys parking other pickups next to me to show off and to impress me with their truck?
I am not impressed! Even if you have the same pickup I own, I hate you! Stay away from me!
