A little crash last weekend on the way out of town. Truck drives no different then before. Just has that crashed look to it. With 320k miles they may want to total it. No airbag deployment so that's good. I'll get an independent estimate for repairs. Then decide if I want my insurance to look at it. If I do that it ends up on Carfax report.
It appears the tow hook took the biggest brunt of it. Tried to rip it clear out of the frame.

Damn! At first glance, it doesn’t look all that bad. Does it look like the frame rail bent? Hope there is not too much damage that would lead to a part out. But if you do end up parting, I’m in Tucson and I’m sure I could find a few things I need.

    If it’s a 3.4 4x4 5-speed manual I’ll take the ECU.

    Sorry, too soon?

    For real though…. Dibs :)

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Looks like most East Coast vehicles.

Mine has many Deer impacts and two forklifts!

If it drives fine and is not destroying the front tires go for it.

Top of a long 7% grade pull. Traffic had cleared out when pick was taken. Semi truck in slow lane going about 20mph. I'm in fast lane with group of cars going about 45mph. Asshole in new Chevy pickup flys down slow lane doing about 55mph and cuts into traffic in fast lane. Cars proceeded to pile into each other. All vehicles were drivable afterwards. Guy that caused accident kept going. The 3 cars I could see in front of me were follow closely. I thought I had given my self enough room.2+ car lengths. Guess it wasn't.

Cop didn't write me a ticket. Said accident was unavoidable.

I was driving up a single lane road that is a quasi-mountain pass. Asshole in a Jeep was riding everyone's ass in my rearview mirror, dangerously passing one vehicle at a time.

He gets behind me and is about 10 feet off my rear bumper. We're going 55-60 mph. The three vehicles ahead of me are gas tankers. Asshole pulls out to pass me and the tanker immediately in front of me... on a blind curve.

Sure enough as he is halfway pass the tanker's trailer, an oncoming pick up truck emerges from the curve. Jeep decides to keep trying to pass the tanker causing the oncoming pick up to swerve off into the shoulder, bouncing off the guard rail (causing probably $1000s in body damage) and the gas tanker to swerve out of the way to give the asshole in the Jeep emergency space to swerve back into our lane.

Sucks. I hate asshole drivers like that. Put so many at risk, caused so much damage to an innocent driver coming the other way, and got away with it.

I was hoping to see him in a ditch somewhere but I didn't.

I-17 northbound on a Friday is my guess, always a shit show. Looks like minor damage or trade for AC work? ha
