Can the door ajar screen be turned off? Sometimes I leave my back doors open for hours when I’m camping and don’t want that screen on/lit.
I also thought I saw a gadget that depresses the door jam switch when the door is opened keeping the screen off.
    Thanks!

Duct tape should do the trick, but why is this screen being shown an issue?

It’s not really an issue, it’s just bugs me I guess, I don’t mind it when opening/closing the door but don’t want it on for hours

My only question is I hope you live in a nice area since leaving your truck door open for hours can be seen by some as an invitation to have a look maybe take it for a ride.

I should have said I leave them open for hours when I’m camping

I think in settings it might have options. I know it has options for when locking/unlocking doors, how long can lights stay on etc.

I thought that after a while the truck would kill the dome light and dash on it's own. Mine does.

When I'm camping and want frequent access, I just reach through the open window. Seems easier.

    I have Access cab.
For the front doors, You can put a stick into the latch so that the button stays pushed in.
I bought cheap spring clamps from thrift store that compress the buttons.
    no chime or dash light.
I’m Not sure how to disable warnings and have all doors open.

I guess I've never paid attention when I've camped and had my doors open. I know the truck will generally kill all accessories after about 15 minutes. Not sure if this applies but I don't know why it wouldn't.

If you leave your hood open that screen will turn itself off after 15-20 mins, the door open messages should behave the same.

It should go out on its own. I leave my truck in the garage with the doors and sometimes hood open, and the dash lights are not on the next morning. Never timed how long it takes, but have not thought about it to be a problem ?
