I have not pulled apart the dash yet but the door panels come off as one large piece, look up the speaker install threads for instructions. I'd imagine the cloth like inserts are glued on.

I’m reading it now.they are melted ln place. I’ll have to grind and use epoxy or small screws and washers to put it back together.

I wonder if it would be possible to wrap what you want over them. I don't know if there is room at the seams, but it might be easier than grinding it off.

2 screws. You need to move the panel under the dash over a bit,it suck a little. The material is glued and stapled on. 1DBA82DC-A485-44E0-A6A7-87F5CEABFA86.jpg4DE0505F-D076-450F-96C8-5C325E218B2B.jpg35BC9F6B-8D50-413A-A367-94359E3E0489.jpg16433DAE-13BD-426E-9419-9B9989EAB3F7.jpg940075FE-D423-4D8A-9C1E-AAD81326B14A.jpg

Damn that was fast! Also I spy a prime motor group folder, you probably aren't too far from me.

My experience with the panels that are glued on is that if you want your next wrap to be perfect you have to strip every last bit of the glue off. If you don't you see every little bump you missed.

My truck came with the red shit on the interior. I tried to live with it, but 6 days after picking it up I took it to an upholstery shop to have it redone.

I never watched them do it, but the dude told me the dash panel was clipped on.

I have a place in OOB, I'm up there almost every weekend. Good luck with the upholstery and if you ever need an extra hand with something feel free to reach out!

So it's 2 screws and just pulls off? Do you have to remove the headunit dash first?

I think if you can pull the outside color into that it would be nice but stupid toss in colors just don’t do. Black truck with bronze wheels and the caramel interior trim like that would be nice,I think.
yes. That just pops off to. You can see one screw under it. The other is under the trim next to the glovebox.

Damn. I’d like to get one and build off it. It could be a great little side job. Custom dash pads. I also haven’t made a payment on her yet so the fact that I’ve already pulled the dashboard apart is f-ing nuts. I’ll check tomorrow. Thanks.

This is what I can do. A simple covering, a tooled piece, or some pouches.37E7390A-1F14-45E0-8832-1FFE343CA135.jpg
